In the last couple of weeks my life has settled back into it's normal pattern which is nice and quiet. On a average Monday morning I cycle from Tewantin along the bike path to Noosaville where I do my shopping at Aldi and return along another bike path to Noosa Civic which is our major shopping centre. The ride takes me along Gympie Terrace next to the Noosa River. It is called Gympie Terrace because all the rich Gympie folk who had made their money out of gold mining had their holiday homes here back in the 1800s. Now it is a holiday area for everybody. It is a pleasant leisurely 20Km ride.
Once or twice a week I do a Meals on Wheels (MOW) delivery run and once month my allocated run includes Gympie Terrace where one of our clients lives in a top floor apartment over looking the river. It is in an older building with no lift and there are 49 steps to her front door which checks out my injured leg.
I am giving a talk at the Sunshine Coast Computer Club this Wednesday about using a cheap Android tablet for blogging while on a bicycle holiday. It is a follow up talk to one I gave before my holiday introducing Android and covers connecting to the internet, using Bluetooth to connect a keyboard and upload photos from a smart phone. I suppose that this is a dummy run.
On a personal note I have just had my annual medical check up and my GP says that if I could refrain from breaking anything else I will have no problems.
My ride back from shopping this morning passed near where we illegally scattered Margaret's ashes in the Noosa River at Tewantin just three years ago.
